Lower Reactive Emotions

It seems like the younger people in my area were brought up FAR FAR differently from the small central New York town where I was raised. Today it seems that lower reactive emotions reign supreme in everyone's life. And when they can't take no more helpful discussion about the way they speak, they hold up their hand and go "WHATEVER! WHAT-EVER!" So many people are only too ready to snap at others instead of creating long-lasting nurturing bonds with people. I don't know about you, but I was raised up in the 1970s, and us school kids didn't do that lower reactive behavior. We actually looked up at the clouds and saw NORMAL PUFFY CLOUDS and were creative enough to see shapes in them. But today if you point out a huge sick mess of cross-hatch clouds covering the whole sky that never ever appeared in the 1970s, everyone younger is certain to verbally pelt you with a programmed "REACTIVE" response: "Oh nothing's wrong... You're crazy". Didn't ANYONE in Buffalo ever LOOK UP as a kid? I don't know why theater movies and sitcoms today involve "lower reactive emotions". Did anyone stop and think for themselves in Hollywood, and stop trying to force a style of thinking on all of us? That's why you see so many older people say they only watch the "older movies". The ones with positive energy. I'd give anything to find one person on this site who knows what it's like to emanate positive loving energy, and never embrace fear.

It's one thing to say you emanate positive energy, but sometimes you have to point out the blindness people have when it comes to positive energy. Today's society is increasingly taught to never ever "see with the mind". And for some people, if you ask them to talk about something other than what they saw on TV, they don't know what to say.

Instead of people tattooing LOVE on one hand and HATE on the other, they should logically have LOVE and FEAR tattoed on their knuckles, if they were looking for opposite terms.

Please, show me what it is like in your life for those moments when you never embrace fear.
