Those "100 things" lists...

Another thing I don't dare do on here is post such a list. Some of my interests and skills are unique enough that, were I to list them, someone who looked at the list who knows me would know exactly who posted it. Part of the fun of this blog is the relative anonymity, after all. I can say what I want without editing, although I do edit to keep things on a positive note.

Still, I thank all of you who have posted such lists, which in many ways are more interesting and useful than profiles. They tell me what you think is important about yourself, not what the people who wrote the profile questions think is important for us to know about you. Even the order in which things are listed tells a story. Why is the first thing in your list first? What have you left out, the way I have, for reasons of your own? Freud would have loved the online world if he had lived to see it; such a treasure trove of things brought up from the subconscious.

The problem is that all the interesting stuff is in the ones I'd leave out, and the uninteresting stuff is already clear from my posts. Sorry, Girltech, I'll just continue to obfuscate.

Wow, I learned a new word reading this! How about giving an adumbrated list instead? (rolls with laughter)

DAMN I love a Roget!
