When I grow up...

As children, we all fantasized about our career path. Unfortunately, many of us will never see such come to fruition due to one reason or another. I’ve always dreamed of coaching high school or college football, or owning an NFL team.

What do you wanna be when you grow up?

I'll have to go with "fabulously wealthy," since I've been just about everything else I wanted to be (including several things I didn't know I wanted to be).

I thought I'd be famous, but being a virtual Goddess in my kids' minds works well enough too.

BTW, ducking was a good idea, you brat. It's too late for X-Mas, how does Valentine's sound to you? ::cheeky grin::

I've only had two jobs throughout my "adult" life (which is only about 13 years, since my six years of college finally ened).

The only thing I ever really wanted to be . . . . was the best I could be, at whatever I did.

As for growing up. I'm gonna be a kid forever.

I'm pretty happy with how I, and my life turned out. As a kid I wanted to be a soldier first (very happy I dropped that idea!), then an actor (I would have been happy to go with that one!), and finally a captain of industry. Will I guess I made corporal, but I'm comfortable and happy!

Actually I did a lot of the things I always wanted to do, but missed a few. I got to sing on stage in front of a several hundred people, when I sang with Opera Colorado in the premier season, and then later in the Dallas Opera. I got to do radio, and some TV. I built homes, and taught children. I am still missing a few more things on that list, I want to go to space, and view the earth from outside the realms of gravity. I want to sky dive. I want to tie DT to the bed, take some honey, a feather, some scented candles, and edible lotion, then... well thats another story.

Not that I anticipate growing up happening any time soon, but...

When I was a kid, I wanted to be something different every week. But the only two things I ever really, really knew I wanted to be when I grew up was an actress and a mom ('wife' didn't even make the top five, I don't think) . Luckily I've gotten a shot at both, although the former was all too briefly. And the latter may come to an abrupt halt if he doesn't clean his damn room this week.

Yeah, I'm still [blog 1hotwahine]

I think wealthy automatically figures in to everyone's big picture.

When I was young (8 or 9) I wanted to be a child psychologist. I have revamped somewhat and want to be a counselor for victims of sexual abuse. I don't wnat to fix the world, just want to help one kid at a time.
Very admirable. **hugs**

When I was little I wanted to be Marie Osmond, and I wanted to marry Michael Jackson. Hmmmm...I'm glad that fantasy didn't work out. So, now, I think I'd like to be one of those guys that sells peanuts at baseball games. I think it'd be fun to yell "NUTS, HOT SALTY NUTS...WHO WANTS NUT'S? HOT SALTY NUTS?" I thought I wanted to be one of the guys selling the beer, but that'd just get me into too much trouble.
Well, it sounds like we have our future planned out, lol..Me door greeting, you hawking hot nuts.
