Winner of Today's "What Not to Say in an Email" Contest

Today's isn't crude, rude or lewd but it is definitely cringe-inducing. It's short and to the point:

come on please give me a break, lets talk.

Aww, man...

Those types of emails always make me feel weird, like I've done someone wrong.

I know a lot of men out there just hate when a woman says, "We need to talk". I'm here to say that women don't always want to talk, either! Really!

In the interest of not leaving people hanging, I have an email auto-response that says (more or less) that if I don't respond to the sender within two days, I'm not going to. (It is a lot more polite than the way I'm paraphrasing it here. LO

The gentleman in question has sent a few emails to which I haven't responded.

I had to bite the bullet and engage in a dialogue that I didn't want to have. I sent the dreaded (dramatic pause), "Sorry, not interested" email.

Call me crazy but when I've sent emails that I haven't received responses to, I figured I got my answer right there!

If there are further developments with this little situation, I'll share the details.

I love men. I guess the strange emails are just the cross that I'll have to bear. LOL
