Alive and Kicking...More Than a Simple Minds Song

Greetings and salutations, Gentle Readers -

The little icon that accompanies this post is a homage to a good chunk of the email I get. Take a look at the the composition of the picture. Examine the clean lines and graceful shadows. Notice the intense interest the model is showing in his three-piece set.

Just out of the frame is a woman who doesn't care that much about the size, but is wondering what his oral skills are like. If she's not wondering that, then she's assuming that he's gay. LOL

Anyhoo, this is just a semi-quick note to let my online friends know that I haven't left this mortal coil.

After I had my mini Labor Day weekend vacation, I came home and hit the ground running. It feels like I haven't stopped.

This time of the year is very busy at my workplace and by the time I plunk my butt in the chair in front of the computer, my brain is just fried. (Well, what's left of it, anyway. I blame loud music, watching the first "Temptation Island" and too much sugar for the erosion.)

As soon as things settle down, I'll get back to posting regularly again. My sincere apologies to those who don't like my blog and continue to visit anyway. (WTF, yo? LO

In the meantime, drop me a note and let me know how you're doing. Yes, you. I'm talking to anyone who is kind enough to visit my blog.

Hell, even if you want to tell me that you had a amazing ice cream cone, participated in some cheap sex (with one or more people), found some jeans that make your ass look really good or bought a new air freshener for your vehicle, have at it.

Peace and blogging grease.

Your little buddy,

P.S.: This is my 100th post! Thanks to everyone that visits my little home in cyberspace and has helped me to keep this thing going despite myself.

P.P.S.: A special thanks to any guy that sent me a blogworthy email. We did it, honey! Now put that shelf up in the bathroom so I can properly display my Hundred Posts Award!

100 Blogs (applause) ..... I've only been reading them for the past 10 weeks or so, but I have gone back and read a few from the past, and I'll try and read as many as I can. I have found them very enjoyable. It would also be nice to have any females tell stories of buying a pair of jeans that made their ass look big .... Because if they think it looks big, it is probably just perfect

I think the countrified sentiment just may be my fault living here in Frederick, MD. I fully cop to being a bad influence. LOL

I missed you too, babe. (If this were shooting a porno, I think this is the part where we totally make out. LO

While I already have a shelf in the bathroom, I doubt that it could support the weight of all these kudos, without falling with an embarrassing (to your latest Faithful Correspondent) sploosh.

I rent, so such major reconstruction is way beyond my purview. The shelf is entirely adequate to hold whatever Ladies' Provisions you might need to stow...

To close- Salutations and Congratulations! Looking forward to the next order of magnitude's worth of posts!

Been a while since they last let me out into polite society. Resurfacing, catching a breath, & catching up.

And while I got my Broad-Brimmed Pimping Hat on, could I cajole all of y'all to Comment on, Alone In A Cloud? It's probably the best thing that I've written!

Five Speed - forceful.

You're one of the few men that can get away with talking to me like that.

Mind you, you're just doing it because you live too far for me to show up on your doorstep.

What can I say? Black don't crack, baby! LOL

I'm surprised I reached the first century mark, so don't hold your breath waiting for me to do another lap.

I'm not a blogging machine like your or the guy on the floor above you (Five Speed)!

Actually, I would like take this opportunity to thank you both for squeezing me into your busy blogging schedules.

As a matter of fact, I DID find some great jeans recently and it was neither easy or fun.
Four stores and I ended up at JC Penne with two pair of gloria Vanderbilt jeans.
I wore them at my HS reunion and they probably wont see the light of day for another five years.
Hope they still fit.

Great to see the top two bloggers in our area together just ahead of these comments.

>>>DCE...Congrats on the centennial mark. By coincidence, we seem to have hit that milestone the same week. But your blog has so much more than mine... I hope you don't mind that I've looked at your work and [blog jayR63] as models.

You know how to spin those crazy e-mails into gold....

Blog On!

What TDA said! I concure fer sure!!

New stuff?

Been on the lake for three weeks! Catchin fish after fish! Meeting lots and lots of people, some new some I've known but just never met, we've now met.

Took a couple from Switzerland fishing and sight seeing for an afternoon too. They both caught fish! Got them into a boil, (fish feeding frenzy where they are breaking the surface of the water), What a rush and good time both for me and them!

You probably don't desire to hear about the spicer parts of the trip though..

MisterPriapus -

You just brought an important safety issue to light. It's not good to store things on shelves above the toilet for the very reason you're describing. What if I got klunked on the head?

What a lame way to be found by the EMT guys! LOL

Thanks for visiting me again.

Shopping for jeans is always a delight, isn't it? It's right up there with looking for a bra. (Gentlemen, it is not a fun experience and no you can't watch us trying them on. LO

So how did your HS reunion go?

We'll have to do the overpriced Starbucks run together some time when my schedule allows it. Work is not fun at the moment.

As for your new jeans, work 'em, girl! You put a great effort into finding them, so you need to wear them at every opportunity.

I responded to your post and the first one disappeared on me, dammit!

I wanted to congratulate you on your centennial and to tell you not to be influenced by my writing. I tend to get into trouble myself, so I'd hate for it to happen to you by association.

jayR is a much better influence. I'm gonna start copying her posts, but I'll be clever about it and rearrange the order. She'll never find out. Heh.

I couldn't agree with you more on the oral skills.

If they don't know what they're doing with their tongue, I'm not very interested in the "obsession". LOL
