bloggers outside of bloggerville

I just want to say a great big thank you for those who are on my ya -hoo I.M.'s for the short chats, the long chats, the deep thoughts, everything of this sort-i have a small handful that i communicate on a regular basis and even those who took themselves off A-F-F. they are still on my
ya -hoo, but for those who still remain in blogville-this is somewhat of a physical thank you, for not only being there, but also being a good friend.

Whats your thoughts on communication outside of blogville for those within your town and outside of your town ? is it a waste of time ? Do you just communicate in here ? Do you carry friends in I.M outside of A-F-F ? Is it a deeper friendship or is it just distant hellos on the I.M.s ?

Communication to me is the transfer of thoughts and ideas and could never be a waste of time unless whoever your trying to communicate to don't want to hear anything your saying. I'm new to this blogging stuff and sometimes feel as though I'm talking only to myself but at least I'm talking. Sometimes I will say something that will mean something special to someone across the country so no distance can be considered too far, thanks to this thing called the internet, I believe we are living in amazing times.
The free exchange of information has the power to change the world and that couldn't happen soon enough.

For the most part, my I.M. friends are closer in locallity then in Blogville. I have I.M. with a few out of state, but not many. Besides posting in blogville I also post with a local group with whom I also attend Meet & Greets. I do not consider any communication as a waste of time, believing that we can learn from anyone at any time.

I love ya hoo IM's. I welcome them with open arms. And for those former AdultFriendFinder'ers, well we know how I feel about a certain one.

One can never have enough good friends and Cute, I put you into that category. Thank YOU for making me smile each day with the glimpse into your thoughts.

Hugs, "Lil"

hey sweety, as for me i do communicate with everyone everywhere. i enjoy talking to these people because we all have the same thing in common. we have the large sexual hunger. the only bad thing is not being able to be with them.

Is it a waste of time ? no
Do you just communicate in here ? with @FF bloggers, yes.
Do you carry friends in I.M outside of A-F-F ? yes
Is it a deeper friendship or is it just distant hellos on the I.M.s ? deeper friendship and some are just merely hi-bye kinda thing.

i think communication is wonderful, however it happens. and you never know when you'll find "the one" or how you'll run into him/her. blogs are great for getting to know ppl before you add morons to your IM list. lol. (i've added a couple by mistake. i think i've mentioned that to you before).
i think my friendships are deeper than superficial.

It depends on the cicumstances and how I know them. I have very close friends that are bloggers that I IM. I share a closeness with several bloggers that I don't have with friends in real life.

Ditto what Lil said. I consider you a friend. You can never have too many friends.

I have a few friends that I communicate with on "Y" but for the most part my blogging friends have become come to know through here and I log on here more than my own ya hoo id now. Sad, but true. I guess, I just have the courage to ask fellow bloggers to share private info with me, I figure if/when they are comfortable with it, they will share it, until then, we will meet in the comfort zone of blogland and I will keep coming back here to see them.
