Lame begets lame

I find this site refreshing because people are up front about what they are looking for, right down to specifications about height, weight, (ahem) length, age, etc.

What confuses me, though, is when people seem to want something approaching poetry from their suitors. It's difficult to write poetry in response to a profile description like "I love sex and fucking! Gimme rough, hard sex, deep penetration, anal, oral and just about anything! No lame e-mails."

It's hard to respond to that with much more than a wink.

I could say, "Ooh, I love fucking, too! I like all of the above and I'm sure to satisfy. Hope you like my pics!" That would be responding in kind. And it would most likely get ignored. Because it's lame.

Except that the profile is lame, too. Lame begets lame.

I could spend twenty minutes composing a poetic overture, liberally sprinkled with bon mots and witty observations, but the adage "Don't cast your pearls before swine" comes to mind.

So when I find a profile that says little more than "I love sex and fucking!" I think "Then you'll probably think I talk too much" and keep looking.

If you want sparkling conversation and witty repartee, provide some of your own first.

what ever happened to decency and simple courtesy?

I can't say I go into any real detail in my summary, it is just that, a summary of the situation and interests,

I don't expect poetry, but I do expect that I be contacted in a civil manner, those whose emails seem to strut in with a hand on the crotch thrusting while proclaiming suck my fat one! get deleted!

at first i had a pretty basic wasnt too outdone, too specific...or too picky..then i made the one i have...which is more detailed...i have had guys think it was too long or i had alot to say but it is well worth the read..especially if you are serious and trying to meet...there are plenty of things there you should know about i think i did a pretty good job...i agree with wy....most of the one liners..."come sit on my face...suck...this...jerk...that..." gets deleted right off back...there is nothing wrong with being nice and curteous and friendly...geez if we were on the street they wouldnt say that...they would get a shot of mase to the eye!!!

live more, laugh often, love much

I enjoy reading profiles. That's one of the things I miss now that I'm no longer a paying member (the other thing, of course, is the photos).
