Frankly, I can't really say I've ever had "bad" sex.
I'm not trying to say that I've always been great, or even good, though I can say that I've always tried.
I did once nearly fall asleep during sex, but that was because I'd just thrown a party and it was about two a.m. and I'd only gotten four hours or so of sleep the night before. (It WASN'T the girl, believe me -- I still dream about her.)
I think sex is such a gift that two people can give to each other that even when it's a little boring or even when the attraction level isn't as high as we would all like it to be, there's still something miraculous about it, or there can be.
Even when I haven't been in love with my partners, I've still felt very affectionate and loving toward them, and the act almost always left me with a lovely feeling.
Perhaps once or twice I've felt a bit used by my partner, but that was when she was drunk and I wasn't sure whether she even knew who I was. That takes some of the fun out of it.
I suppose sex can be bad when one partner actually dislikes the other in some way, or looks down on them. I have come to dislike some former partners, but I did like them while we were sexually involved.
Sorry, don't mean to sound like a goody two-shoes. Maybe folks can catch an episode of "Jerry Springer" for a few horror stories.
