Peeping Tom

The wine, a nice merlot,
consumed too soon,
even as we,
the three of us,
consumed the
sight, and touch,
scent and sense,
of each other.

gathering glasses empty,
just for the moment.

Sex is such thirsty work.

As I return,
I hear the sounds,
of lovers, and
stop to listen, voyeur.

Her voice, all flutes and oboes,
laughs and giggles,
his, a baritone, rumbling,
gentle earth tones.

Until I hear, the break, the catch,
of her voice, glissando,
his in counterpoint,
all drums and cymbals.

Waiting, listening,
rapt audience,
of one.

Peeping Tom describes a treasured memory of a recent encounter.

I think that for a MFM couple to work, there must be a touch of voyeurism in him. A capacity for delight in hearing, seeing, feeling her enjoyment with your partner. It takes trust. Trust in yourself, trust in her, and to a lesser degree, trust in your friend.

I can't agree more. Trust is so very important, for all parties involved. And yes, there has to be a voyeur in him, and an enjoyment of watching his partner with another.
Great blog, well written.

Soooo sensuous. ... Sex as art. ... You two are a credit to our species. Your mature perspective adds such grace to this all-to-often immature website. Keep up the great blog.

OhioNiceGuy - Thanks for the kind words.

MWM - Trust is probably the most important part of any relationship. And our adult adventures have only deepened our understanding of each other.

Milkit7 - Sex as Art! What a wonderful term. We are glad that you like our blogging.

I agree with all on this one. I like the sex as art, also.
Like your poem. Good expression, open, honest. It speaks a lot about the writer. unlisted

Thank you for you kind words. Erotic prose is hard to write, and we don't mean to imply the obvious pun. But expressing explicit passion or sexual encounters without sounding like a cheap porn sound track is a bit of a challenge. Fun though.

I think that may well be one of the reasons I don't attempt it. I never can make it sound... right.

Its rare that anything I write in this vein is worth letting other people see. But this one turn out nice. I know what you mean though. It is VERY difficult.
