Taking Back My Life!

I'm not afraid of dying, I'm afraid of not having lived!

I felt restless & numb & out of touch with myself. I need to take back my life! I know it won't be easy, but it's something I have to do.
I'm not sure how to do it, any ideas?

Whatever you do, think about how it will affect those you love. Then, follow your heart. A meaningless sexual encounter? I think not. Don't get me wrong, sex is great, the more, the better. But I think you may need something a little deeper ( no pun intended). It's not only sex, it's being special and being made to feel that way, it's about respect and being with someone because of you, not just your body. Sorry, didn't mean to ramble but I think you get the idea. Do what makes you feel alive, makes you smile, makes your blood race. Live life to it's fullest and settle for nothing less than what you want.
Good luck.

Candy, honest response here, not just because I think you are sexy. The answer is lust and passion. Remember when you were younger, perhaps when you forst started falling in love with hubby. Remember the giddiness, the wanting, the yearning. That is what you may need.

Puppy love kinda thing. That is what I yearn for, going to bed thinking of the nights new person, the great sex you had, then dreaming about her/him, then waking up and not being able to wait till you see, chat or talk to that person.

Make things about you, take back your life that way. Remember how you get wet sometimes seeing a nice looking person walking down the street or at the mall, thinking man id like to do this or that to that person.

I may be rambling, and as a matter of fact I may be describing what I need....actually yearn for.

You cant beat the feeling of faling in lust though.

This will always be a risk, but you have to be willing to take risks to get what you most value in life. This is my answer - find what you most value in life and pursue it. Do not pursue it to the exclusion of all else, but you have to be willing to take a risk or two to get what you want in life. Now I just need to be able to follow my own advice more closely!
