Facing the Worst

I'm on my way out the door, to the hospital again. If my mom's doctors are right, this is it for my mom. Her heart has reached the point where it is wearing out. Her blood pressure & pulse are very low. There isn't much more they can do for her, except make her comfortable. They want to move her to a nursing facility, which she is fighting. She wants to come home, to die in her own bed. This leaves us in a dilemma, do we listen to the doctors, or do we honor her wishes? Hard choices to make.
Well... I have to go, I will keep you posted.

Sorry to hear about your mom. I whould say honor her wishes so she could be close to you. It's a very hard choice. But it is your choice. In a nursing facility they can watch her closely and keep her comfortable pain wise. My prayers are with you. Joe

Hi Angel...well I had the same decision.....opted for the nursing home....thought she would be more comfortable...someone always there..etc...you know the drill...she hated everyminute she was there...passed after 3 days of misery...I'll never forgive myself....hope you make the right choice....Ryan
