Argue?

Do you argue with your spouse? How much do you argue with them?

It just seems lately I've had more arguements with hubby, some over senseless stuff, some arguements were very heated & over important stuff. I hate to argue!

Well when I was in a relationship it was the silly arguments that brought on the end. I mean how can a lady really care about you if she argues that I agree with her to much!!! I hate argueing too.

Hope things get better for you there!

Not to sound like Dr. Phil, but are you argueing over real points or to establish who's the big dog in the house?

thanks guys, it's nice to know i'm not alone on this.

Dr Phil, i mean parrothead... after being married for 31 years, i don't think we argue to establish who's the big dog in the house, but i'm not sure it's over real points either.

hmmm, now i am wondering, if perhaps he is trying to declare his dominance over me, after all, he is a control freak! and most of the stuff we have been argueing about has been things i have planned, or done.

If you can stand it, try a day of "yes dear's" and see if you argue. Next day have a "damn the torpedos" day. If thee fights stop and start you have your answer (and one confussed hubby too).

Best Luck

thanks Dr. P, it's not like we argue everyday, it just seems like lately he has been more testy, which makes him easier to upset.

He can't stand it when I'm home all day & barely do anything around the house... like i'm his servant, maid, house cleaner, cook, etc...
Truthfully, some days i do as little as possible, which means the dishes don't get done! Somedays I do too much, which includes working outside in the garden & yard, while when he gets home from work, he relaxes, has a few drinks & dozes while watching TV!
