All She Wants To Do Is Dance

Hubby & I go to the eagles club for a night out. We have a few drinks & I get to dance. I love to dance, & I've made friends with a few ladies, whose hubbies or boyfriends don't/won't dance those fast dances with them, just like my hubby. I'm sure you guys know what I'm talking about & have seen more ladies dancing together, cause the guys they are with won't get out there with them. So me & the girls go out on the dance floor & shake our stuff to every song we can dance to that the band plays. It's always a good fun time!

The other night, while I was dancing, jsut me & another lady... this other lady joined us. I never met her before, but that didn't bother me, that's how I meet my current lady dance partners. Well this other lady, I'll call her 'Suzy'... was dancing kind of wild. That's the best way I can describe her style. She wasn't being overly sexual, she was being more a free spirit. Suzy even went out there & danced all alone, the only one on the dance floor, till me & my friend joined her. Later, I heard it from some of the other ladies how Suzy was the talk of the place with her wild dancing. I'm not one who criticises anyone for there dance style. Lord knows, you should see me dance & I'm sure I've been the talk a time or two, when I got a little carried away shakin' my ass dancin'.

It gets to me though, why people have to put down, ridicule, or criticize someone else like that. I don't get it. To me, what's the big deal? Suzy had enough guts to get out there by herself & dance. I was talking to my lady friend & she felt the same way. Know wonder I like this lady so much! We also talked about dancing by ourselves, would we have the guys to get out there alone, being the only one dancing. I told her I thought I could do it, but it would have to be a song I really loved to dance to.

Have you ever been in a situation like this, where you were doing something you loved to do, & heard later how you were being put down for it?

Some people are like that because thier jealous. The main point is Suzy was having fun. And that's all that matters. I use to belong to the Eagle's Club about eight years ago. What one do you belong to. The bowling league I bowled in was from the Eagle's Club. I whould just laugh at them because I'm having a good time. I probably did the same thing dancing and singing kareoke. Just go out and have a good time. And I bet your ass looked just fine wigglying it.

thanks guys, i always have a good... great time to me, seeing Suzy out there dancing, made me smile. she had me thinking of my best girlfriend, who also is a wild free spirited dancer. besides i think dancing is good for the soul
sometimes it's hard to ignore people like that, i do try not to let what other say bother me, and with all the back stabbers out there, i watch what i say about anyone else. the rule is... if you can't say something nice about someone, don't say anything at all!

There are two kinds of people in this world. People who take themselves too seriously and people who are able to laugh at themselves. The first kind will make fun of someone else having a good time. I only spend time with the second kind - life is too short to waste on someone with a stick up their ass. (I guess it depends on the kind of "stick" but you get my point.)

I have a good friend whose favourite expression is, "Fuck 'em if they can't take a joke!"

It's a really good attitude to have when putting up with those who do nothing better than put down.

"Let your life lightly dance on the edges of Time like dew on the tip of a leaf. " Tagore

The denunciation of one who allows thier spirit to dance through their body is reflective of a soul seeking freedom, to be met with pity rather than anger. Thus preventing those same chains from entrapping your spirit. Dance away Milady.
