I have HSV who I got it from or when I have no idea but I have it .I'm amazed after researching hsv how many people have it and have no signs that they have it and do not know they have it because they have never been tested for it .On average 1 in 8 people have hsv and do not know they have it and 90 percent of the population has it.There are some states that when you go for an STD test do not even test you for it since it's so common in the USA . there is no true cure for it there are meds. to lessen the break outs .There is no safe way of not getting it except for absence .The sores are usually at the base of the penis were the condom does not cover and on women it can be on the outer lips where when your having intercourse your condom will not protect you.
Have you ever had a cold sore on your lips or a fever blister ? If you have there is a very good chance you have HSV and if you ever touched that blister and then touched your self down below you could of very well of spread it to that area.
I'm writing this to help people understand this disease to let people know you can have it and not know it and for everyone to be tested .I have been tested and know I have it and do not want to infect anyone who does not have it .But if you have not ever been tested for HSV you could be spreading it and not knowing it to people who do not have it . I know most men will say I do not have it and there is no need to be checked because there afraid that they my have it and embarrass to have the test done GET TESTED!!!!blog CDFEM
