Christmas for a Pagan

Christmas is a somber time of year for me as I am a Pagan. Son and grandson to Italian witches I easily get picked on like it is some sort of fad....Nope I was born this way. Last night I met a woman who not only mesmerized me with her looks but with her brain. Flame red hair and paper white skin. Between beers the topic of Christmas came up and what could have been a great night was made even better. "Kate" as we will call her confessed to me that as a christian she still did not understand christmas, but she had to be home in time to play "Santa." You see "Kate" is a single mom trying to make her 2 kids hve a great christmas. The father apparently saw no need to do the same as he never even called. "Kate" told me she thought christmas was a time for happiness and love. I told her that I didn't know but from what I have always heard it is. As "Kate" became more intoxicated I apparently became attractive. She asked me to take her to my house as a present to her, which was I admit probably the last thing I was attempting to do but I found myself feeling bad for trying to be responsible and saying no. Well needless to say she must unwrap alot of presents because it didn't take long to unwrap hers.. however It was at that point that Santa popped back into her head which made for a kind of awkward 20 min drive to her house. As she got out of the car I told her that she understood christmas perfectly.. loving what can be loved....her two angels inside.
