Lucky, wise, clever or stupid? You decide...

I've made a new friend on this site recently. Actually, I've made two. The first is a lovely young lady (from Canada: another one! What is up with Canadian women, anyway? Are they ALL this hot?). She paged me one day last week as I was on camera. We've been having fun, getting to know each other, though, sadly, we probably will never meet in person...unless this wild dream of saddling up the bike and heading off on an epic "nooky quest" comes to be. And why shouldn't it? I'll only live once, though I tend to put my faith in the teachings of Lord Buddha. But with my luck, I'll come back as a newt or a neo-con.

My second new friend is a more local lady. We're just chatting for now, but we seem to be looking for similar things. I described my situation to her and her comment was I was living every middle aged man's dream life. I am? Hmm, I guess in a way I am. I have several women whom I know want me or find me desirable, not the least of whom is my very own wife. She loves me so much, in fact, she lets me live in my own house (rented) during the week, come home on weekends, cooks for me (and I for her, just so we're clear on that), makes love to me and "breaks my balls" far less than I probably deserve.

So how come I'm out here chasing these other women, some of whom are completely annonymous viewers of my web cam, others whom I know only by printed word and digital photos? Am I satisfying some biological imperative to sow the wild oats I missed out on by being a "responsible" young man and getting married young? Or am I chasing a romantic ideal of some more perfect love? My wife and I have been through hell, but we did it together. That's part of the problem, but what if every couple has to do that in order to break through to the other side? If I find a sex goddess on this site, and fall for her, won't there just be a new hell to go through at some point?

It's just like the old proverb:
A hand in the bush is better than being given the bird...wait, I've got that wrong! Let's see, my fingers in her bush is like a bird in my hand...no, that's not right...

So why are you here chasing other women? I guess you've got to answer that one yourself.
