So Cold Without You

Holding out... on what she's holding in
She lays her head down on his shoulder
Feels that it is getting colder
She cries out softly for all she's been denied
Truth, is what she's never heard of
You're still young, so wipe your tears
Close your eyes... erase your fears

Now his bed is cold without you
He says his bed is big without you
Can't find the words to take away the pain
Apologies spoken... all made in vain
Pick up your head, accept the space
Before those lines spread across that pretty face
Lock that love up, deep inside
Your heart-shaped box where you confide

Next time she sees him standing there
Faint smile lingers on her lips, so bare
Oh, how she loved him; how he tore her world apart
And now he wants her back 'cause she still has his heart
....shivers down his spine, she sends
For now he's on the receiving end....

And before its too late...too late for tomorrows,
He grabs her hand and whispers
With shameful sorrow,
"It's so cold in my world,
Won't you come on in?
Forget the past and share it with me again...
With your gorgeous smiles and sunshine ways,
Wipe away my rainy days...
'Cause my world is so big,
And I'm so cold without you."
