Interracial relationships

Today I took my nephrew out to Wal-Mart for his birthday-he's 8.. (I have a friend that describes it as the store of satan). Anyhoo...while my nephrew decided between a remote control car or motor-cycle I people watched...after scanning the crowd I became interested in this guy in the store..he had brown hair, Caucasian, very slim... and what made me notice him was that he seemed to be people watching to..however he was only looking at every beautiful black woman that caught his eye. And on a Saturday afternoon he was turning his head a lot ...however, when he was really impressed and a woman can tell... with this very beautiful ebony beauty...he lingered at the sun glass counter while she picked out some jewerly with her girlfriends ...as I watched that I again became amazed as to why we are always so hesitant to pursue the unknown or dive into interracial relationships. One never knows the passion...devotion or caring that another person has for one another. This guy just sort of watched as this young woman and her friends wandered away...he actually seemed like he had a longing in his face...I couldn't have misread that...I didn't realize that men really can want something and it comes across so evident in their facial features...it was interesting....and sad at the same time.

By the way...I bought my nephrew both the remote control car and the motorcycle and a pair of kids sunglasses for my nephrew...he's a good kid!!!

I so wholly agree with you. I was raised “all white” both culturally and in sexual preference. It was so engrained it wasn’t even conscious. Now I have a very loving and supportive female friend with benefits who is black and I wouldn’t trade her for anyone. Even though we are in a very liberal area we still get looks from both skin colors when we are together in public. I no longer see a color but a person. But it’ll probably be a while before others will …

I am guilty of the same thing Blkpus... I am a white guy who looks at black women all the time, although not exclusively. My experience has been that alot of black women rebuff any approach from a white guy unless he looks like Brad Pitt, or is financially well off.I have been lucky enough to have been involved in a couple of interacial relationships that were exciting and very fulfilling. In both relationships we both looked much deeper than the color of our skin, and had strong feelings for each other. In the bedroom the sex was great, possibly some of the attraction being our skin differences, I don't know. I met both women on a dating website for individuals looking for an interacial date. Being somewhat of a shy guy this worked great.I flirt with black women and if she seems receptive I pursue her, but haven't had much luck lately. If I hear what you are saying, your saying- white guys step up to the plate and don't be afraid to ask, you may get lucky, right? I wish there were more like you out there looking for a nice white guy, who will treat them like a princess.I'm still looking....

I've found that the repercussions from family and friends is an abuse few are willing to experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To answer your question Mr. Honery..that's exactly what I'm saying of course...it is all in timing...I really can't speak for men but women know when a man is interested and if you get that vibe from a woman I suggest coffee first you meet her there and go from there...it is best not to start it out in front of your friends or hers...that way one can be assurred that there are no "motives" behind the invitation.

And yes people can be bias in any race, or ethnicity but should that stop you from living your life...I don't think so...we are meant to love each other so why not...I say go for it..Sexy Mamma

Right now I'm LMAO...because we as Black women give anybody trying to talk us a hard time!!!Trust me if Brad Pitt approached I'd still give him a long look over!! Don't take it personally!! I'm with my partner in crime after he wooed me for a while! And he's white! My advice mirrors MISS.PUS...keep trying!

No I don't think so Paul...so I gather you have had the same experience or longing I should say? why have you not pursued it..you meet Black women at work, at shops/stores, libraries, the gas department, schools,,we are everywhere and we want a nice guy regardless of color...believe me
