Baggage?

I've read just about every post of most people on AdultFriendFinder. In reading those posts I've seen the "request" that there be no baggage. In the course of a few meetings, I am starting to interpret "baggage" as children. My question to the "teaming masses" of AdultFriendFinder is, What is baggage? I'm hoping that is has nothing to do with children.

Baggage, according to Webster's New World Dictionary:

1. The containers, as trunks, bags, parcels and suitcases, in which one carries one's belongings while traveling: LUGGAGE.

2. The moveable equipment and supplies of an army.

3. Superfluous or burdensome practices, regulations, or ideas.

4. a. A wanton or immoral woman. b. An impudent or saucy girl or woman.

Well, I don't see the word "children" in there anywhere, do you? I think all of us have some of the blue baggage in our lives. Hopefully we've weeded through it so it fits in a daypack--which we conveniently forget to take with us. As for the red definition--hmmm! That would be an interesting theory to test!

Hope that helps. And if anyone passes by the chance to get to know someone because they have "baggage," well, I think it's their loss.
