The Irony in Bondage

The Irony in Bondage

The irony in bondage
Is that, it is supposed to set you free.
A life of submission, Erotic and sublime
This controlled emancipation
Yet, it is the tie that binds.

One ventures to the ultimate
To be driven to the edge.
Is it really to be free, from this tie that binds?
Or the internal desire to be validated
By family and friends.

For one to be imprisoned, violating human race
A Life in Jail, is a criminal’s home base
Or could it be,
Testing the laws of society
Conforming to fit in worldly labels,
And a community of brain washed fables.

Domination, by one
Or controlled by the others
Living as their slave
In this world, so absolute
Dictating, how one should behave.

None of us can say
That we are completely free
Whether we choose
Blueprints, a life built by another
Or an erotic noose
Fulfilling my chained pleasure

So the desires that your filled with
And the journey you request
Your passion and will
Will lead you through your enslaved quest
As for bondage and freedom and a life worth living
Be who you are and stand tall
The ironic question is,
“Are you really free at all?”

Indeed the search for freedom can really take paradoxical shapes... nice one, Belle!

Never argue with an idiot. He brings you down to his level then beats you with experience
