Icon to Icon....

is Wordsmith2004 {Smith? Yeah, right; come on! } who wrote So Is THIS Really It??, in which he assed {oops, sorry!, staring at his pic again, my soooo bad! }...asKED:

"If you had to pick ONE famous image that in YOUR opinion represented the 'essence of the manly man' or even the 'essence of womanhood/feminine sexiness' what would you choose and why??" {"And even ASS an added BONE-is...you could POST that pic up 'a'la a blog entry and then try linking back to this lad's luxurious blog post...both to make it easier for us all to see what your talking about...as well as whoring my hot ass out to all of Blogville!! "}

Bogie and Bacall, of course -- Humphrey "Bogie" Bogart and Lauren "The Look" Bacall.

"And life becomes something else. You know Hemingway and TS Eliot, the Oliviers and Judy Garland, Katherine Hepburn and Orson Welles, but you never again find a partner like that movie star. And for the rest of your life, you live the insolent, ironic way you and he evolved." I read that from a BBC interview.

I can't help but to think that Bacall was searching for Key Largo...that legendary supposedly unattainable 'it'...and Bacall found it with Bogart. Like her, I found my own Key Largo, my own 'bogie man'...at the time...my greatest strength...and my greatest weakness...and I 'lost' him, too. Life goes on; Love goes on forever. They were a couple, on and off that big silver screen....

Still, like her, there are more than enough days where I repeat several things Bacall has been quoted on: "They're guys who want to screw around all the time, which interests me not at all. God knows we've done that, been there, and we don't want to do that any more." "Find me a man who's interesting enough to have dinner with and I'll be happy." "A woman isn't complete without a man; but where do you find a man - a real man - these days?"

Dear "BaronessK".

... after reading Bacall`s quote:

... "Find me a man who's interesting enough to have dinner with and I'll be happy." "A woman isn't complete without a man; but where do you find a man - a real man - these days?" ...

... May I ask "What is a real man?" ... "How do you know that "he´s" a real man? ... ...

How about that guy on here who thinks he's Jesus?
You know, he's here...he's dead...he's BACK?
The girls all seem to like him.
The advantage is....just when you're getting tired of him, he's dead again! How perfect is THAT? LOL!

You talking about the fake death guy or did I actually get to miss some drama for a change?

Actually if someone were to pull that on me...pretend to be dead...they would be; my second husband died, and 'we are not amused' by such juvenile antics, especially not on what is SUPPOSED to be a personals site.

BTW, I have been meaning to ask you to refresh my memory...why did you originally have 2 blogs made, to separate the 'sensitive' from the other parts of you or what? I do remember you said a long time ago that you were both of them, but I was discussing the exceptions {as in double blogs but not double profiles because of linked, etc.}. Just curious, mind you, although I do seem to remember most of what you said at least at the time.

A real woman knows a real man. You, yourself, are one {a real man} as surely you realize already, so you only need to analyze and think of your own traits to know the answer{s}. I will ponder on a more in depth explanation and make a post of it perhaps, to do it justice {the explanation}.

Baroness,
I just spent an hour giving you the reasons for my two profiles, and LOST IT!
Please understand, I'm a one-finger typer. I'm just not typing it again right now.
If you read BOTH my profiles, you'll get a good idea of everything. Read Gspots first, then Poetry. I explain it all in Poetry.
I'm SO PISSED! ONE HOUR!
If you have any questions after that, let me know.
It's NOT to be different on either one. I just sometimes forget where I am. I TRY to do most my blogging from poetry, but forget. My Gspot blog is important to me. I really try to help people there.
Anyway, let me know if you don't understand after that.
I'M SO PISSED! WHY does that happen!

You should have reminded me that I saw it in your profiles and all; I thought you posted it as a comment or something and there was no way for me to track that type of thing down. BTW...going to make one for U-spot, too?

The site happens, hun; right now off to have an ER doc look at my hand; used to type 65 wpm myself...don't want to know what it is now {although each keystroke from my left hand is a challenge these days}.

So much for "Mr Computer"! LOL!

How come that doesn't work? It's supposed to be the guy who's drumming his fingers. Getting tired, making lots of mistakes.
Bed-time for Bonzo.

YOU do NOT know, really? I just assumed you and a couple of other guys on here knew all that. Well, at any rate, especially since my hand is all messed up can I just send you to Orgasms, and Orgasms, and Orgasms, oh, my...!? All you ever needed to know about orgasms...but thought you already did so you didn't read the post the first time! Later, babe....

If it needs clarifying, just let me know...always willing to talk about sex, especially more so when I haven't had any in a while!
