When I last left off last week...

My week diddn't start too swell. My lucky 5 toed cat that has kitty AIDS passed away. He had suffered abuse before he "adopted" my kitty sanctuary and had a longer life and knew the joys of being a housecat on easy street. I called him "speedbump" as a nick name because hed lay in the kitchen and ud have to trip over him to do anything...and that ment feed him too. As much as it annoyed me and caused some near falls at 3 am.. I miss that cat. It was a hard loss.

On top of that My bunny pookie had to go in to the Vets for some issues and maybe id loose 2 in one week, and my gentle heart ..thats rough...but i remembered blondeneedssex post about her cat, and said a prayer for them both.

Luckily and about 350 bucks later bunny was home safe and sound...and dirty poopie blankets from his stay in the back seat of my car. (will be relevant later when I get to the wedding post)

So the next day i was supposed to go to the third wedding this year for me.. in a swelterng 98-101 heat outside...oh yipeeee i can hardly wait.....

Losing pets stinks.. I have always said that there in no love like that of a child or a pet. No matter how badly you might mess up, they will always love you.

Tough loss. It's amazing how attached we can become to our pets. Speaking for myself, I have a dog that is nothing short of family to me. She gave me a big scare last year when she got out through the side gate. Being that she was young, she was very curious and unaware of the dangers that were out there. Needless to say, I went on a frantic search for her, asked the neighborhood kids if they had seen her, went driving around looking for her, checked in the fields, even stopped to ask the ice cream truck driver (I Couldn't even talk to the lady with out my eyes tearing up and my voice cracking). With the help of some kids I finally found my dog about 2 blocks away and 2 hours later.

Again, very sorry to hear of your loss. I completely understand how you feel.

Sorry about SpeedBump, but happy for you that the rabbit didn't die.
