I wait
I wait for you

I know one day
You will look
And see Me
I was always around
But you dismissed Me

Last time u did
See ME
You brushed my hair
As a little girl

And this time
You notice Me

Not wanting to leave Me
This time
Because U realize
With new eyes
I have always been here

I waited in eternity
For you to know
I never gave up on you

For you are now
The weak one
Instead of Me
Father time
has a way
of evening the score

I was never
"The weak one"
I just loved you

Sometimes Daddy's do notice their little girls, they just don't know how to express themselves.

Daddy's are extemely important, particularly to daughters.. It is so unfortuate for both that this connection is not always what it should be.. I have seen daughter's continue to rescue Daddy's even when the Daddy was not what he should have been, and seen Daddy's broken because of the loss of a daughter's love.. It is a strange, and unique bond... and one which needs care, and nurturing so when mistakes are made, a gulf does not grow between them... Any man who doesn't love his daughter, and isn't willing to do everything for her welfare, is not a Daddy, he is only filling an empty void, and making it a bigger one... No man, or daughter is perfect, but nature binds these hearts ... and, I have found this to be true of mother and son as well... a special, and unique bond, for a mother is there when he gets his first heartbreak, and serves as his guide to what he will have in expectation of the woman/women in his life... this precept is set early on... Every man, with a daughter should be constantly aware that his daughter's eyes, and heart are on him, and he must respect her, and help her each day, each time she calls out "Daddy", as well as being someone who she can also respect, and look to.

Your Daddy loves you - I guarantee it. No one comes into this life with the proclamation of hurting someone else, we all try our best, though some are lacking and it hurts when one is so sensitive and inspiring - he loves you baby, he just doesn't have the life skills.
Forgiveness doesn't mean you like the person or even accept who they are.... it is more about forgiving ourselves for giving so much unconditionally. Stay beautiful Barbie.....
