Airport intrigue

I'm in the airport a couple of days ago, flying out to god knows where Kansas to explain to some collegues about the complexities of the email system and how they cannot continue to use it for descibing their sexual encounters in the toilets. Anyway i get to the counter, and there boldly displayed in full color is a prominent list of items you cannot bring onto the plane. Some very commen sense items like guns, bombs, exploding hair spray, etc...Then i notice the chainsaw...really, they had a giant photo of a running chainsaw..I guess my question is who needs to be told they cannot bring a running chainsaw on a plane? If you do spot a guy with a chainsaw and tell him he can't bring it with him..is he going to go crazy...is their somewhere he can check it in.
Perplexed

I think chain saws are legal if you're flying out of Texas.

(okay, bad joke)

Okay, they're legal out of Texas if you keep it in the overhead compartment.

(still not funny)

(hangs head in shame)
