Reading my blogs this past year...you would know that I got divorced early last year...didn't have any contact with him for 8 months...and then saw him again this past October..and since then..been having a lot of fun with him...sure..he has pink pajamas under his mattress and doesn't know how they got there...and sure..he doesn't answer his phone when he is fishing...but when we do get together...it's really nice...so..I use the term...I'm recycling him...
the other day I came across this site that has this t-shirt...so...I added our names to the shirt...and figured I would stick my t-shirt under his mattress...for my sleepovers when I'm at his place..lol...he of course could wear it when I'm not there...lol...but..at least if someone else makes his bed she would know who the top belongs to if she wants to wear it...
I sent a pic similar to this one...to his phone this morning...he liked it..LOL...

Last night the guy I have been seeing lately (my ex husband) called...we talked and he mentioned that he might go fishing with a friend last night...In the past when he has said this...he doesn't answer his phone...his explanation is that he doesn't bring his phone with him or there isn't a good signal..which are both possible reasons...BUT...I also know that times ..like when I'm over..he doesn't answer his phone...
which brings me to another thought...
when I was at his place this past week...for a couple days...He was at work and I was washing the sheets... while putting them back on the bed..I lifted the mattress and found a pink pajama bottom...understand...he use to use that as a hiding place...when we lived together...they weren't sexy...but when he called and asked if I wanted to go on a ride with him while he was working...I mentioned about the pink pajamas...his excuse was that it was probably the landlord's pajama bottoms...the condo he rents is fully furnished...dishes..towels..and all..so it was a possibility...BUT...I also know that he had a woman that he had been seeing that lives nearby...from what he had said..she was in the past...
so back to the original post... fishing....
I tried calling him last night...and he didn't answer...and then he still didn't answer all day today... we weren't fighting or anything like that...but...at this point...I'm ready to throw in the towel..and tell him ...we don't need to see each other anymore...the lying...and not being able to believe even the simplest statements drives me crazy...
we have been getting along well..but I feel like he is a cock blocker..since I know I will never be able to have a committed relationship with him...and I would like to find that special guy...rather than dating someone new all the time...
so...I'm thinking maybe I should go out and do some fishing of my own...

Been getting a lot of requests from out of towners...who said there was a huge oil spill in the Gulf keeping tourist away.
Since I'm looking for a permanent local partner...this really doesn't fit into my dating agenda...I certainly see it as a compliment ...but I don't do hotels and here's the reasons why...
First, I don't do out of towners...how can you have sex twice a day with someone who lives 200 miles a day...It doesn't work..(just so you know ...I went to the College of Engineering until my junior year...so I can do some logical calculations). 200 miles = sex once or twice a year.
Second, when I filed for separation last year...I couldn't have my ex over to my house since it would be really odd and he was living off his 93 year old mother (can you see why I filed for divorce..lol) anyway...we would meet at local hotels...after a month of separation ..I got an NSF for a hotel stay at the Best Western on his bank account on a day we weren't seeing each other...he denied even being there...(another reason I divorced him ..he isn't good at math ..and he was stupid for getting caught...a terrible liar and a cheater..LOL So, I called the Best Western to verify the charge and they said yes he had been there. We did continue to get counseling for another 5 months after that but ...it doesn't work under those circumstances...at any rate...
that is why I don't like hotels...
don't get me wrong..we had some crazy sex at hotels...you don't have to worry about cleaning up after yourself...and things can get really wet in the bathroom...
well...unless it is at least a weekend vacation at the beach..then I will give it some thought.

Still having crazy sex with my ex..and he lives 137 miles away..LOL...

A story of finding yourself after divorce
When I was dating my ex husband...
strangers would ask to take our picture...
they would see our camera...or they would make a comment about how they would like to take our picture..
it was really weird
even our picture on our wedding invitations ..was taken by a stranger at the beach we would later get married at..
After filing for divorce...on New Years Eve...I went to the beach alone where we got married...
to say goodbye to the year..and my marriage...

I didn't have my camera either since I had stopped taking it to the beach...after I filed for divorce
We wished each other Happy New Year..and they went on their way..as they were walking away...it reminded me how we use to get asked to have our picture taken...
and it was like they were sent to tell me...I"m "still picture perfect"
all by myself
I cried ....happy tears knowing that even strangers could see on the outside that I had grown and was past the divorce.

Being my day off I went to the beach and found someone's balls laying on the beach...well at least they looked like balls...

Before going to the beach it was an international day...my friend on leave from Afghanistan dropped by and my other friend who had gone to Hong Kong for work emailed me after months....which brings me to my topic today...
Does the recession cause cock blocking....so many guys that are working have to travel to foreign lands for work..or like what happened to me today ...the guy had to take a conference call instead of meeting me at the beach...WHO DOES THIS??? It has happened a few times with the guys that actually have jobs..they have to work longer hours or are just distracted to make ends meet.
Then there are the ones without jobs at all which I'm sure doesn't help with their search for "love."
Let's all just relax...and guys remember to pick up your balls before leaving the beach.

I love my lilies and the lumber grasshopper does too. Every summer there is the battle of the grasshoppers. I tend not to celebrate them. I'm not part of some weird cult or anything like that but I just decided one day that it just wasn't necessary. I saw that it created stress and depression rather than the joy, peace and happiness that it had intended to accomplish. Last year, I started pulling out the stuff that I didn't like in the holidays...I still keep the dinners...gotta eat...but like Christmas and birthdays it isn't mandatory for presents. It was an amazing Christmas last year without all the stress of shopping decorating. Really it is such a waste of time and energy. Who thought that up anyway..someone wanting to stick their hands in your pocket...not your best friend. Birthdays as well...I had my 50th last year and I do have a twin....but my family certainly knows me well and completely understood my boycott of anything more than HAPPY BIRTHDAY....So...here I am on the morning of another holiday....I will wish many people Happy 4th today because it will bring them a smile...I will work today to give them the day off...I will probably watch fireworks at 10 tonight off of the roof of the garage at work because it will be there...and I will thank every military person for making me proud to have people that are willing to put their lives on the line for their beliefs....so I guess I celebrate ....but in my own way...and I love it...
I doubt I will ever find a guy that will want to live this stress free existence with me because it is kind of odd...but hey

I went to the beach yesterday. As I strolled along, I found a plastic red cup thrown in the sea grass. I picked it up to throw it away and found a tiny crab in the cup not larger than my thumbnail. I showed it to my friend and we both thought that it was cute and I set it free along the shore. After a few minutes I felt something on my foot, it was the tiny crab. I mentioned to my friend that if you set something free and it comes back to you it truly loves you...we both laughed and I nudged it away but it came running back and hid under my foot. I pushed it back to the shore and didn't give it much thought and went back to my chair to enjoy the sunset. A few moments later as I laid their with my eyes closed I felt something on my arm. I flung it off thinking it was an ant. My friend said it was too large to have been an ant since he had gotten a glimpse of it. We then realized that the tiny crab had crawled up my beach chair and was what was on my arm.
I thought about this more after I got home since it was odd even for me...some mentioned it was astrologically the sign of the crab now ...and I also remembered it was my brother's birthday on the 4th of July...he passed away a few years ago...It was a nice thought to think it was him coming to say hello.
