Two minds meet across time and distance,
different hours, and different places…
without the need to hear their voices
or recognize each other’s faces.
Not even aloud to themselves they speak;
they sing their sonnets that none can hear.
yet, each can hear the other’s song
though time and distance aren’t really so clear.

It’s like they’ve both been waiting
for the other one to arrive,
without ever even knowing
the emptiness in their lives.
So unlock my soul you Sweet Angel…
You’ve always had the key.
The mysteries I hide from all others
I’ll never hide from thee.

This is one that was most definitely not taken from my scrapbook! It just came to me... didn't even have to compose offline and copy and paste like I sometimes do on the longer stuff. I've been inspired!

Puzzling Over You

An enigma you were,
An enigma you'll be,
Why keep your sweet soul,
Locked away from me?

Reconsider my dear,
Our romantic tryst,
An evening with Susie,
Is not to be missed.

Ooooo...get me !!! Don't I just love myself? Answer=yes. Don't you all love yourselves? No? Can't be very nice people

Stop being so elusive, you enigma, you.
Luv n stuff,

Ahh Susie...

I'm sure you're sweet,
as sweet as can be,
But alas, my British friend,
my heart no longer belongs to me!
