Brooding Clouds

The brooding clouds of atmosphere
roll on cymbals rumbling by.
No smile breaks out across their face,
as they cross the moody skies.

They groan
They grumble
They creak and moan
Whilst bursting at their seams

They know they cannot hatch their brood
until the day has passed beneath

For they are clouds of twilight
splintered by the setting sun.

Its not until the darkness falls
That their weary journeys done.

As you may have noticed, I am not a natural poet and that was my first foray since I was a nipper in outsized shorts and itchy guernsey. So please go easy on me.

Expat I think this was a one off foray. But depending on the response who knows. My gardening hour launches next

juju and Lapkin ty for the encouragement.

As to writing an individual poem I guess I asked for that! But great minds think alike I am already on the case.I just have to find some obscure computer langauge that wont open first.
