When a cat is dropped, it always lands on its feet, and when toast is dropped, it always lands with the buttered side facing down. What happens if you strap buttered toast to the back of a cat?

The cat will perform a triple somersault, with a reverse twist, followed by a sharp miaow as it hits the floor... it didn't allow enough airspace for the reverse twist

Well.. you'll end up with cat hairs on the toast

An actual university study, funded by the government, was done on this very topic. They tried stapling, super-gluing, paper-clipping and sewing the toast in place, and the result was always the same: the cat/toast hovers about three inches off the ground.

The renewal of the study is testing to see how many cat/toast combos it takes to hold a full-sized hovercraft airborne. Apparently there is some issue with longevity as either the bread gets soggy or the butter congeals.
