Icarus Theseus Ariadne

He vanished and he is so close...a few minutes from me here in Paris

But there are short distances that one never dares to cross...

Icarus is very close...

But I have been told, at the time he was Theseus and I was Ariadne, he told me that he could never take me "home", and, like Ariane I woke up that morning in Naxos, and he was gone, just like Theseus.
Was it a tempest that forced him into the sea? Was he just wise to flee before the tempest of feelings would start? Before the turmoil? But one should never ever avoid turmoils.

Some say that after Ariadne lost Theseus she became immortal through her marriage with Dionysus and her image is a circlet of stars in the northern sky where she still guides other sailors on their journeys.
