Is there such a thing as a Mid, Mid life crisis?

Ok, i know ussualy my posts are full of sex and other exciting stuff, but this one is going to be a bit miserable...

Yes even i have bad days...

So lets paint a picture for you all...
its Saturday night, and here i am all alone at the age of (gulp) 25, and im listening to Sarah Mclachlen cd feeling kinda down.

if there were a song for the way i was feeling atm, it would be that one outta Bridget Jones Diary, the one where she gets drunk and smokes and sings "ALLLLLLLLLL BY MY SEEEEEEELF!!!"

For those who might have guessed, i kinda had a big blue with a really good friend. An irrepairable blue. i Say this because i don't want to be friends anymore. Sad but true.

See im one of those people who attract 'leeches'
with my big heart and easy going nature... nothing is worth fighting over, i accept people for who they are, faults and all.

But Theres only so much blood i can give!!
Yeah it was fun, we had a ball, we did everything together, but im at a point in my life where i gotta seriously stop letting people use me!

So i weighed up the pros and cons and made my choice.

My little Mogul (Gemini) has left me for the weekend, which im still trying to decide whether is a good thing or not!!! (she is very attatched!)
And my house is soooo quiet!

I actually spent last night alone watching dvds!
felt weird sleeping in an empty house.

I guess this is the first time in my life where i have been 'alone' on a weekend... and its kinda unsettling, but at the same time reflective..

Does anyone else struggle with the fact that you feel you should be with people or doing something on a weekend?

Sure. But as you get older, and your life gets busier and fuller, you will cherish that alone time. Pamper yourself....get some good carry out food, as in Outback, or Applebees. Enjoy.

Yes I do. Unfortunately my school assignments keep me busy

My goodness Amber you have been thinking deeply while you were down with the bug. Still this split with your "friend" and also coming down with the flu have probably been timed to give you this time for reflection and hopefully the opportunity for personal growth on the path to maturity. Use this opportunity wisely to set the correct course for the next period of your life. I suspect that you may now find yourself browsing through the self help books in bookstores and the public library.
Do not be afraid to be alone because as angelofmercy says things will get busier and busier, so finding some alone time will soon become a luxury.
Welcome to the busy time of your life and be prepared for changes.

I absolutely do fel weird on a Saturday night or Friday night when Im at home. I have this strange pull to do something. Anything.

Having said that. I cherish every second I have at home alone. I put on good, powerful music, have a bath, put a treatment in my hair, wax, pluck, scrub, moisturise, paint nails etc etc.

Pamper everything! Your body - your mind and your soul. You will adore every second you can relax in your own head.

Well BendigoGold, she did say a "Mid" midlife crisis. So i think that just about covers Ambers age group! I take that as being mid way to midlife, lol.
