pulled over by a fucking airplane?!

yeah i've seen the signs before but never given them much notice. they say something about speeds minitored by aircraft or some such shit. this time i didnt even see a sign. i was on my way to go see a buddy and was cruising along at about 80 as i always seem do be driving at excessive speeds. i rounded the bend on a highway and way off in the distance i saw a police car with its lights on. well i figure he has somebody pulled over and i settled down to the 65mph speed limit. as i got closer i didnt even give it a second thought i switched over to the left lane as the cruiser was sitting on the right shoulder. all the sudden i saw on officer come walking out into the middle of the road and hand motion me to pull over. i am thinking to myself what the fuck is going on here maybe a random safety check or a sobriety check. a little bit baffled but not at all concerned i waited for the officer to approach my car. when he finally did he told me i was clocked at 80 and that i was getting a ticket. i am sure he thought i was giving him attitude. i know what my face looked like, eyebrows raised, forehead wrinkled, mouth slightly opened. i even looked up at the sky like a dumbass like a plane was just going to hovering overhead or something. well i couldnt argue because i knew i had been speeding but that is just my luck when it comes to driving.

now with all that being said i want to know how a fucking plane thousands of feet above the ground can pick my car out of the several that were on the highway and radio it to the squad car? a logical answer would be technology which i would accept and understand. but then my next question would be this. how much does it cost to buy the plane, install the technology, fuel the plane, maintain the plain, and rent space to store the plane in the hanger? all of this money provided for such by the taxpayers. i am sure it would take a mindboggling amount of speeding tickets to even come close to providing a dent in the cost of such an aircraft. in the meantime the officer on the ground is already sitting in a position to take radar, being paid the same amount of money as he would if he was taking radar, except he isnt taking radar. he is sitting there waiting for the plane to tell him somebody is speeding. maybe i am wrong but i thought all he would have to do is push a button to find out himself. i dont know maybe i am crazy but something seems fucking wrong about that whole situation. i guess it could be me just being bitter about getting another freaking speeding ticket. somebody needs to just tell me to shut up and get over it.
