OK, this is to show that I'm a good sport and can post a joke even when my sex is being laughed at.
I've never faced this situation.

Zen or Not Zen?

I thought these were somewhat profound and had humor at the same time. What do you think?
20 ZEN TEACHINGS
1. Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me for the path is narrow. In fact, just leave me the Hell alone.
2.. Sex is like air. It's not that important unless you aren't getting any.
3. No one is listening until you fart.
4. Always remember you're unique. Just like everyone else.
5. Never test the depth of the water with both feet.
6. If you think nobody cares whether you're alive or dead, try missing a couple of payments.
7. Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
8. If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.
9. Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish, and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.
10. If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably well worth it.
11. If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.
12. Some days you are the dog, some days you are the tree.
13. Don't worry, it only seems kinky the first time.
14. Good judgment comes from bad experience ... and most of that comes from bad judgment.
15. A closed mouth gathers no foot.
16. There are two excellent theories for arguing with women. Neither one works.
17. Generally speaking, you aren't learning much when your lips are moving.
18. Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
19. We are born naked, wet and hungry, and get slapped on our ass... then things just keep getting worse.
20. Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night

WHAT A WEEKEND!

I just got back from a weekend in Washington DC. The mall and the city are amazing. We walked down the mall past the Washington Monument and saw the WW II memorial, Vietnam and Korea War Memorials along with the MLK Memorial. They were all so impressive in their own ways. However, the most haunting was the Korean War Memorial. It's black stone with what appears to be holographic images of the solders blazed into the stone. They are so real and appear to be looking at you from beyond the grave asking to be remembered. It leaves you with a lasting memory, I promise. An interesting factoid: Did you know that the Washington Monument has two shades of stone? Yeap, it does. The monument was started before the civil war and work halted, until after the conflict. When the resumed, they did not have the same flavor stone, so the upper portion is actually whiter.
Sometimes you really have to wonder if we have learned our lessons. It makes me scratch my head in wonderment, looking at those memorials. Anyway, I also had the chance to visit the National Portrait Gallery. It was beautiful. All these people who have had an influence in our history portrayed in such spender. The inventions like Bells Telephone, Morse's telegraph and Edison's phonograph on display makes you appreciate the advancements of today even more.
Overall, a very very good weekend.

How the Mind Works?

Have you ever gone somewhere, observed a person you find extremely attractive and mentally undress them? This has happened to me the last couple of days at the local Barns and Noble. Damn, the same woman walked in, she's very attractive, slender, long light brown hair and a smile that melts you.
On top of that, she and I were talking. She's very friedly and we've talked on and of for a while. It's that sometimes whe walks in dressed in what I feel is a very sexy manner. Today she was wearing a red dress. I'm not making this up. She looked like she was going somewhere, and looked very sexy. As we talked my eyes were doing the roving exercise that I think took in every aspect of her and mentally imagined her sitting in front of me in her panties. Was I distracted a bit? Or you bet I was. But, I did still manage to carry on a reasonably intelligent conversation about traveling to DC this weekend. I just hope she wasn't too aware of my wondering eyes.
Anyway, have you ever done this? Sit with someone and just have your mind undress them as you attempt a conversation? I'd really like to know. I was going to post a related picture, but was concerned about offending someone.

Crazy Weather

Here in Eastern Pa. it was in the low 90's on Monday. Everyone was ready for summer. People walking around in shorts, tank tops. It was just a presummer mini explosion. OK, two days later, it's in the low 60's, thirty degrees cooler, jacket and jeans weather. This is absolutely crazy.
I was going to go fishing, but it started to rain. As we changed our plans, the rain slowed a bit. Ahhhh, what do do? Get naked and enjoy HNW I suppose.

Checking the Home Page???

I notice every time I come in here that someone has either viewed my profile or sent me a flirt. That's nice, but I was just wondering if many people actually check the home page from time to time? I went there today for the first time in weeks just to see if anyone near me is online or I may know. Other then that I rarely check it. I usually sign in and come directly to the blogs or the groups to see what's happening. Just wondering if I should check there more often? If I get an email I always respond ASAP.
Do others usually go to their home page on a regular basis?

What's Going On?

I was in the "Y" area yesterday when I received an instant message saying "hello, it's been a while since we talked." OK, I saw the name, didn't recognize it and sent back a simple reply of "hello, have we talked before."
The response was very generic and gave me a moment to pause. I decided to just see what happens so continued to ask general questions, like name, location ans when we might have met and talked last. The answers kept coming back in a very set pattern. That's when I realized I was in communication with a computer program that wanted me to sign up for some web page. That's when I bid a hearty good-bye and signed off.
Has anyone else had a similar experience. I found it to be somewhat troubling that we might now have computer programs invading our computers in an attempt to gather personal information.
I would suggest that whatever programs you use to talk or chat on, watch out for little scams like those.
Just a word to the wise.

How Sensitve is Your Body?
|

I was reading a blog post from a friend I enjoy and her topic concerned a very sensitive part of her body. Her nipples to be exact. That put me to thinking, dangerous I know, but what other parts of the body are sensitive and do different people have different areas that put them over the edge?
For me there are two areas that if a woman plays with during passion it will drive me crazy and lead toward an orgasm. The first place are my ears, for some reason, they have always been a place that if stimulated, really can put me over the edge. The second, and I hesitate to mention because I know not everyone feels the same way, is my ass. If she lightly applies pressure there, it usually drives me up a wall and I will orgasm in a pretty violent way.
I was wondering what parts of others bodies really turn you on? I'm sure some people enjoy a more aggressive approach, others might be turned on by a lighter touch.
So how bout it, what special areas of your body put you over the edge?
I thought this might be an interesting topic...

Feeling Depressed!

I just read an email from a friend about an acquaintance who used to come to our gym and join in our workouts. Actually for over a year. She was in her mid to late thirties, a very nice mother of two young boys. She was working in her barn, where she maintains horses for others when there was an accident and she died from severe injuries. This just rams home how fragile life really is and how many of us just take advantage of it instead of just embracing it. She was here one moment and gone the next. That's how fast it happens.
I always believe in celebrating life. However, when a person looses it so quickly like that, it seems to have a jarring effect.
I will be in a very reflective mood today.
Everyone enjoy your Monday.

Bad Idea

Every once in a while we come with what we feel are good ideas. In our own minds, they sometimes even seem great. But, when the tire hits the road and you present your ideas to friends or just other people you know, you realize, well, that idea wasn't as great as it seemed.
Sometimes they work and sometimes we should think before speaking. I'm usually one who thinks out load and sometimes creates more issues then I was hoping to solve.
Anyone else in this boat or am I floating alone here.
Have a great day.
