For me, I want maybe a 20-30 minute drive. I am married, so going 75 miles would lead to a lot of questions.

The long distance ones can be fun if you are planning a trip! If it works out, briefly, great and if not, who cares? I've been stood up enough times, locally, not to want to drive too far for a meet up!

I've dirvin 10 hours for a weekend visit with a couple that turned out to be a blast on every level. From that visit alone I will not rule out any distance.
