and always have. Ever since I was a kid, Valentines Day was ALWAYS a special day for me. I'm not sure why but I do like the idea of having a special day set aside for your loved one. I guess it plays into my love of pampering or something... I ALWAYS make a big deal out of Valentines Day and this year is no different. Here's the plan: I've gotten the wifey another rose dipped in gold. These things are about as cool as can be. If you've never seen them, they are an actual rose that's gold plated. They aren't quite as expensive as you might think and they last forever  This year makes rose #2 and I plan on eventually buying her enough to have a dozen of them.. They look VERY cool in a bunch like that btw.I've also got a dozen long stem, premium roses 'winging' there way here for delivery Thurs morning. She always says she 'hates' them but the look on her face tells me otherwise. Besides, in years that I DIDN'T get the roses, I could sense a let-down in her so, she gets them whether she wants them or not! Thursday morning she will have her favorite breakfast, in bed of course! Blueberry pancakes. She just LOVES them. Easy enough to oblige eh? LOL She will also be covered in Valentines Day cards from me and both dogs. Yes, you CAN in fact buy Valentines Day cards from the dogs.. LOL I've gotten her a 'credit card' to a local day spa around the corner that she really likes so she can go over there and have them 'do her' anytime and any way she wants.. LOL Thurs evening, our closest cousins are taking US out to dinner at a very nice place. They where in Panama during my 50th birthday and decided to make up for missing that by taking the two of out for Valentines Day. Wooo Wooo... Hopefully, after that we may ACTUALLY roll around in the 'hay' a bit. Who knows. It COULD happen! A rose dipped in gold - that sounds really wonderful and I have to admit I have never heard of that at all - very unique! Have a wonderful day and when you get lonely think of me  Save A Horse and Ride A Cowgirl

Happy Valentine's Day Tazz. The gold roses are absolutely gorgeous. As for flowers, doesn't look like I will be getting them OR a roll in the hay this year. Have fun and good to hear you are healed up from your adventures!!!

That sounds wonderful, Tazzy! But of course it's not surprising that you know how to do it right and proper.  And SO glad you're all healed from your escapades...heheh.  I have a different experience with the holiday, since for some reason I never seem to have a man in February, but I'm glad you enjoy it. And those gold roses really do sound cool! I wonder if they make them in white gold??? That would be awesome. Take care, sweetheart! *muah* She wakes & takes her place in line & never bothers asking why the mirror sheds no light at all...

I love the idea of a day set aside just for love too. I will be spending yet another....My 9th in a row alone..... What a shame when i got Lovin by the TRUCK LOADS a'wastin here!!!
