 Damn! I was just thinking about this sensation. I had the blissful opportunity to enjoy one of those interludes last evening. I was absolutely drained, emotionally and physically. My heart was racing, my legs were weak, all my senses were racing but my mind was nearly numb. I think the word stupor may have been pretty descriptive of that moment in time.

 My favorite is “post-coital erection"

Few can achieve it but I have never had a greater bliss than looking over at my lover and seeing a post-coital erection...

I know you were asking for a word that describes that feeling after its all said an done. There is a term... post-coital tristesse. But that is for the sadness we women get when the man is laying there sawing logs and we were not satisfied. So that's not what you are looking for.

How about:

"post-coital satiation" is probably the best... since post-coital sounds a bit clinical... kinda Masters and Johnson.

"post-coital euphoria" it can be very euphoric if the both are satiated.

"post-coital rapture" no... that sounds like something from Revelations...

Well, those are my three top suggestions... in the order of choice... now I want all three.
