Let's go off the deep end...

We wanted to use up some cyber-space by expanding more on who we are, jokes we like, opinions we have and just what ever comes to mind. What to start with ....hmmm...(HIM):

Why not something on every ones mind already....New Orleans. I just cannot seem to understand WHY it is taking so long to get any real help to the people! When this sort of thing happens to other countries(even ones that hate us)we seem to be there before the sun goes down; this happens in our back yard and all thats given are excusses. Yes, I know lots have been airlifted, but thats about all. I found out today that 11 pre-set sites that are equipt for airlift ops and food supply have not been utilized. When the Dpt of HOMELAND(please read in the sarcastic tone in my voice)was asked why, they replied that no one asked. No one asked. Uh,hu. Did they think to OFFER it? Perhaps the governors were unaware of, or due to the emmensity of the problem overlooked, this option.

The main excuse we hear is that local communication are bad t non-existant. Then why are they forbidding the MANY ameture radio operators(HAM)to go in. This is what they (we, I'm one, too)do! These are the same folk that chase storms watching for tornados. Public service is the mainstay of most of the HAM groups, they could get it done, but aren't being allowed to.

What about the reporters that have driven out? If they can get out, why can't the military or FEMA get in?

And if you know what H.A.A.R.P. is, isn't it strange they were doing an experiment with it just as all this was developing? (HAARP is a 'communications' array in Alaska that is also being used as a weather modification device. Yeah, I know how it sounds; check out the patents, the Air Forces' claim to "own the weather by 2025" or maybe the bill introduced into congress THIS session authorizing monies to be spent towards this goal.)

It just sound to stupid to believe all this is happening, but it is. Is this a test by the fed to see if we really care about another city?

I know it all sounds a bit fantastic, maybe even kooky, but this math just dosen't add up. What do you think?

I agree with most of what you say especially about allowing Radio Hams to help with communications. What I find appalling now is the police are trying to evict the people who have stayed from their homes. This is not the American way folks. If people want to stay in their homes, let them. If they want to risk disease, let them. I personally would want to stay and rebuild/ repair whatever I could. Get rid of all the lawyers in government that don't know their ass from their elbow and get some real help so that the homes can be rebuilt.
