300!...
This is a very special post for me. It's my 300th. Yes, I know, most of you come up with 300 posts in a year. Me, I average a post a week. I am a lazy blogger. But there are a few things I would like to say. Especially for my more recent readers. I started this little blog back in September 2005. Yes, six-and-a-half years ago. Long time. In my wildest dreams I never thought I'd have a sex blog. Even when I started it, I thought I'd be lucky if I lasted a month. Yet, here I am. Same handle, the only one I've ever had. Same blog title, "The bright side of the moon", I picked it carefully and never changed it. I have always tried to focus on the positive side of things. And always wanted to bring a smile to your face whenever you came here. Even if there was the occasional tear. Either for you or for me... Your presence has consistently brightened my time here. I always look forward to logging in and seeing your comments.
If you will forgive me my lack of modesty, I am proud of my blog. I have come to know a lot of you through this. It has been a tremendous and rewarding experience. More than I can describe with words. But I would have never-ever-ever been able to do any of this without your eternal kindness. The warmth with which you have surrounded me. The beautiful words you leave behind for me to read.
This is the revised version of "my wall". A wall with the name of everyone who has ever commented on my blog engraved on it. Very much like every word you have written here is engraved in my heart. It is the least I could do. The smallest possible way I could express my thanks to each and every one of you. Here it is, look for your name, it's in there somewhere...

And my old couple's name is on there too, 4th paragraph, profile long ago deleted...
Funny part is I'm still in contact with and good friends with many on this list. Many of them are on my bookface... And on a "sex site" no less... who woulda thunk it!!

Congratulations my toothy friend! I just noticed that I am at 276. I missed my 100th & 200th, and honestly didn't know where to find the number. I am keeping track now,and will be celebrating my 300th! I bet it's hard to believe you have 300?

yeah, i know, 300 isn't that much, but it is a lot more than i ever thought i would post. i remember my 50th post and how i felt i didn't have another 50 in me.

That is an awesomely cool idea to post all of your commenters' names!
And as for frequency, I would rather read a blog that has one really excellent post a week than someone who just throws something on to the virtual page every day. You're a wonderful writer and I always am happy to see your comments on my blog too.

awww... thank you smartie and yes, i agree. well, as it is i probably don't have the time or the energy to post more... but that is one of the things i enjoy about my blog: that i have no deadlines or quotas, i just post as much as i want whenever i want.
and comments from people like you make being here even sweeter. thank you for staying with me for so long. during this recent trip down memory lane, it was wonderful to see all your past comments!

It is sad that I saw quite a few names of people who kind of just "drifted away"...it always makes me sit and wonder what did actually happen to them. And more than a few of them I considered my "blog friends"...and sometimes talked about meeting in person...but it never really came to fruition. Now there's no way that it will ever happen. I even kind of "lost" you for a while...and just found you again while random blog ghosting. Thanks for remembering me and including my name in your list...smooches...B

You've always had a helpful, supporting, friendly, horny manner that I've truly treasured.
I first started here in 2005, too! I still can't get the site to fix my old profile. I actually tried again today. Gonna have to email them back again tomorrow to tell them "nope, still not working..." 
Ha, if they ever do get it going, I was about to hit another milestone in comments. You were always the one to win my "prizes" by being that milestone commentor!
Btw, my Husband & I have wondered how things are there? We see it in the news and it looks frightening. Hope all is well and remains well for you.
