Bad weekend
7/6/2009 11:05 am |
Did you have a nice weekend? I hope you did because I don't have one. I had a gathering dinner on Friday night with some current and ex- colleagues. Going home with a happy and relax mood, but it ended at 12.30am. I was shocked, stunned. My beautiful main door, and the gate has been "coloured" by red paint. And a matching bicycle lock on my gate! I stepped backwards and leaned myself on the wall, staring at the entrance for two minutes. I really don't know how to response to it. Next, I put down my bag on the shoe rack, took out the phone and dialled 999, coolly and calmly. Next, I called my parents. Next, I took out the camera (I won't bring if not for the gathering) and started to take pictures of the gate, in different angles, different zoom, with flash and without flash. 15 mins later, police came. Cut the lock, asked some questions, talked to the station, went upstairs and downstairs to inspect the surrounding, and tarla.... they went off half and hour later. My mum and I then went upstairs to take a look as the two units above me also had the same "treatment". I didn't sleep well that night, so do my mum. I waited my neighbour to come back around 4am, and she stayed up till that time. She walked back home after that. I myself slept around 5am. I woke up around 11am (not bad huh, still can have around 6 hours of sleep It took me 8 hours to remove the paint on the wooden door and the gate. My fingers are all in red at the sides and I can't get ride till now. Both Saturday and Sunday nights, I didn't have good sleep. I was so paranoid with a little bit of sound outside the door. Once I heard some noise, I will get up and at a look at the peephole on the door. Even now I am at my parents' place (I was warned not to go back there for the time being), I will still feel a shiver down my spin when I heard some noise outside. Hopefully it won't happen again and I can have nice weekends again. Living is like licking honey of a thorn ![]() Stay

Lots of weird people these days. Could it be a plank do? I had something similar at my door in a milder sense some time back. They left writing of our unit number and the usual 'O$P$' thingy. The thing is the name they wrote which they claimed owe them $ doesn't exist in our house. Ever since then neighbours looked at us in the most odd ways. Sometimes I just couldn't help but to think people tends look at things in the most shallow and surface ways...

Alot of people asked me this questions, and I asked myself as well. Some even joked that the person who did this, don't know how to read digit and recognise the wrong door The one doing yours is old school, I saw one at my place, it's a computer printed A4 sized paper, with the usual crap with a picture of his car as well. It's only in black and white printing, but hell, these people are getting high tech

BS, was there this writing " O $ PAY $ with a telephone number ", on the wall ? This shit has been happening at SG for a few years now, babe. Police are pretty much aware of these runners who do this for their bosses. Some of these are also unemployed guys trying to extort some money for themselves out of innocent people. Recession and innovative methods of extorting money.

LMS, there were. At the stairways of the 3 floors But they were painted by someone already. still can see the numbers faintly, and I noticed that all the phone numbers are different. Can't see floor number though. Just my luck. Chat with a Police officer revealed that some new resale buyers are faced with such problems. Either due to the fact previous owner could have borrowed. Otherwise these unemployed guys want to take advantage of innocent new owners, by extorting from them. Take it easy, babe. Seek advice from your investigating officer/ s. They will guide you, darling.

I am much more better already, thanks. Like what my friend had told mee, I shouldn't be scared. I know that. But thinking that my poor mum going over to my place every morning to ensure everything is ok, I started to feel worry again. I am stubborn in some ways, and i know who passed to me Talking to the officer, I will. But the main purpose is to check on the status. I still have work to be done. I still see red patches on my gate. Going to clean it off thoroughly this Sat.... It is always more than two times. So just be mentally prepared. They try more often so that new buyer succumb to their extortion. So be brave and do not give up. Takecare, sexy babe.
