Its all about him. Its all about her.

How many times have you heard someone talk about a relationship in those terms? Yuck. Been there myself recently. I hung out for about a year with a "superwoman" who was also a fitness instructor in her spare time (that tells ya somethin, eh?).

See my personality type? "The Caretaker". Its easy for me to fall into that trap. Give give give. Thats what I do best. It hurts to get nothing but a sharp stick in the eye in return. So one of the many things I learned from that relationship was how to say...

What about ME????????

Or, as the band Rufus puts it so simply...

"Tell me somethin GOOD!"

If all you can see is the good in yourself, you're missing out on what's really important and will never have a relationship that lasts (just ask my old girlfriend... she's had more than her fair share).

soooooooooooooo... What about you?

We are listening {=}

"What else is on your mind?" asks she who has no need to ask your old girlfriend...

Just a little food for thought.............
If you really want to be happy, nobody can stop you...

Hmmmm... where's this leading? The Goddess has tempted me to spill my mind. Well... I just wanted to be loved, in the simplest of ways. She couldn't. I was just a great guy friend to be called upon. I needed more than she could give. Simple as that. So over time I got frustrated and distraught and started throwing sharp sticks back into HER eye and at the very end told her how fucking full of herself she was. She didn't like that. And blew me off for good. We both lose. We both grew. I did anyway.

Epilog. Less than two weeks after I quit the club where she still worked as a spin queen and yoga guru, I joined another club and on the 1st night of my new yoga class, I turned and introduced myself to this rather enchanting woman right behind me. And just by doing that, I met my revelation, a gift from the cosmos. My new friend was from the other side of the spectrum. Our time together last summer was magical and mystical. Almost surrealistic. But most of all, enlightening.

Everything happens for a reason.
There are no coincidences.
End of story.

Yes. And having someone to dress and care for wounds helps speed up up the process.
