Oasis of Stolen Moments

Come, join me darling,
Where for a few precious hours
There are no worries
And life’s cares are blown away
As we shape ourselves
An oasis so blissful
All else fades away

Let me feel your lips
So soft, delicate, tender
Upon mine, teasing,
Playing a game of whisper
And touch, as your eyes,
So clear blue and beautiful
Catch mine in glimpses

Cover my body
With showers of your kisses
As I’ll do to you
Upon your fair skin.
Ears, neck, breasts, pussy,
Tasting perfume, sweat and sex,
Arousing passion.

Sheathe my yearning shaft
That I am deep inside you
Sharing sweet movement
In embrace most intimate
Your wetness and heat
Such exquisite sensations
Inflaming desire.

Breathlessly sigh
Your wanton words into my ear
Send to me those signs
Of heated body’s passion
That you will soon come
Feeling you tighten on me
In wild, shared climax.

Let me see your face
Glowing, smiling, endearing,
Looking beautiful
And in radiant splendour
Shaping scenery
That bedecks this creation
Of experience.

And so sweet angel
In these few words an image
Of an oasis
Formed from a deep, sweet friendship
And stolen moments
Lasting in our memories
Till we ourselves fade.

Mmmmm Angel sweetie, I look back and smile warmly. You were simply wonderful to be with, engaging, endearing, a great sense of humour and as sensual as you write. I'm so, so glad you found the poem on your return to blogland - it's a celebration of a dear sweet friendship.

And there's still a trip we need to make to Sedona and a few mountains left for me to fly.

Thank you for inspiring my words.

warm xx

Warm~
To return to blogland and find this wonderously beautiful poem was something I never expected. It made me smile, and then sit back nad close my eyes thinking of the few moments we stole during your week here. It was fun seeing you try to drive an automatic, though my forehead was bruised for a few days ... Tee Hee! I had such a great time watching try to see every roadrunner and coyote you could on the trails of South Mountain, only to practically miss your turns and run us off the road. Having you close enough to talk to and yet knowing that it was for such a short time was both a thrill and a constant black cloud for me.

I still remember watching you in amazement in the middle of Central Phoenix when the bumper to my Rodeo fell off on the street, and you jumped out to wrest it back into place. My own private European hero! It seemed as though we did so little, but at the same time, we were able to see one another so much while you were here. Then on your last day, when we think we'll have a wonderfully relaxing goodbye ... the check-in clerk tells you to "haul ass" to the terminal, she has booked you an earlier flight! Do we thank her? or strangle her for cheating us out those precious last few hours? Instead, you grab your luggage, smile and run with "reality on tilt" toward the terminal so as not to miss your flight.

It was wonderful to see you, even more wonderful to come back to blogland and find such a beautiful tribute.

Thank you,
SDA

~Angel

Lenny, so many thanks. I really enjoyed Arizona and did some paragliding there. If only Florida wasn't so flat......

Must be nice to have someone now in your life to say such sweet things to.
I offer you a deep bow of respect for the lilt of yor words and your turn of phrase.... so important, the phrasing from your right hand upon the strings.. and the choosing of your words in a poem.

I apologize deeply for how long it has taken me to respond to your many kind words and notice of my pains in the blind postings I have dumped on this strange site. I blustered my way into here with a 'good old boy Florida cracker redneck hippie' attitude.....

I have found, instead, a world of very talented and equally lonely people. And I have found a wall worthy of spraying my graffitti upon.

Thank you.... did you actually come all the way to Arizona... and you didn't stop in Florida????? Fool.

Lenny

The pic is an Arizona sunset, kat. A metaphor of something of beauty that passes. But can be captured in an image as good experiences can be captured and shared in words. Thanks for kind words .... Blogland is a good place to return to.

Dear foxy, it's so sweet of you to say. My own good luck to have met SDA and to have had the opportunity to write and dedicate it.

One of the good things about coming back to grey, wet, cold London is to be back online too and friends in Blogland.....

You are so true and insightful dear Tabs. And I've been thinking that perhaps we should seek those meaningful experiences that shape memories, or at the very least take such opportunities, and to say "je ne regrette rien", rather than "what if......?" whenever hindsight prevails. And in that way we can enrich who we are.
