I am here to blog now, I at first came looking for something but have met way to many people in blogville.

I blog for no one but me. Whether anyone responds or even reads it does not matter. Alot of time if it is a day I need to vent I can do it on here and get on with the rest of the day feeling a little better. Sometimes an outsider can see things in a different way than you do and can offer some words of wisdom.

Speaking for myself, if my goal was to write to amuse or entertain other people I would be horribly disappointed with my performance. There are probably on 4 or maybe 5 people who regularly visit my blog. Some days there have only been one or two. I know that what I write serves a purpose for me, even if it's something as mundane as writing about planting my garden or cleaning my pool. My blog is the only place that I have ever said many of the things I've written, and just the fact that I have written them down has been a positive step for me. If someone else reads them and chuckles then that is cool too, but I don't write for anyone but myself. I once tried writing a journal and gave up on that idea after less than a week. I have kept the blog going more than 10 months (there was a previous identity that I used).

There have been some very tangible side benefits to my blog. I have made a handful of friends whose friendship has now extended into the real world. These aren't romantic interests, they are more or less soul-mates.

I enjoy writing, I enjoy reading what others say (when the comment) and I plan on keeping the process going in my life. I hope that you decide to keep on writing. It's good exercise for the mind and the heart. I'll be checking back in on your blog from time to time and I'll try to drop you a note when I visit.

"Why are you here? Looking for a hookup? Trying to find meaning? A connection? Simply killing time?"

All of the above.

Unless you write about tumbleweed - or anything else that's on your mind - you'll never know what other people think about your thoughts. Even when readers leave no comments, the very fact that they view the post indicates they are interested. The funny thing is in most cases you have no idea what effect your posts have on the readers - you can only imagine...!

The random thought process is expressed through blogging or " free writing". The mind works best that way, stream line conscious thinking that appears in the form of writing. We don't worrying too much about grammar, spelling and fragmented sentences. My creative writing teacher in college encouraged us to write from your hearts and don't worry about those typos which will be corrected later on.

This is what I don't get about blogging here on AdultFriendFinder. This is suppose to be a sexual site where we express our shelves sexually speaking through desires, visions that pertain to sex. I don't see that here. People blog about their jobs, their dreams and write poetry. Often these post have nothing to do with sex or are clearly just made up.

There are so many other places to blog in communites that are more varied and you'll get a much boarder audience to comment upon your writing.

AdultFriendFinder blogging should be about sexual desires and fantasies not fishing with the kids on Saturday afternoon.

People do read what you write if you are clever enough to get their attention. Most of us are indeed "wasting our time here". Come on, when was the last time you found that "someone special" on this site?

I like to believe we all have something to say, we are all intelligent.

I see the validity in some of your points, but you'll find that people may have come here with one intention in mind but have stayed for a completely different one.

How many people are really going to blog about sex and ONLY sex?

There's only so much you could say.

I do agree with you that this isn't really the type of site to blog about family trips with your kids, either.

Then again, there are many single women with kids on here, so....

To the question....

I'm only on here for the blogs now, the expression of my ideas.

I originally came here out of curiousity for the experience, but that was soured by the women in my area. Married women and women with kids aren't exactly my idea of relationship material. Most of them just want sex. They can get that from other guys.

I'm a personal trainer and if I wanted NSA sex, I'm offered that by married women all the time.

So now, it's all about blogging and I've met a few interesting people.

Not that many, but a few.

I'm a single mom and I have a live in partner. WE are poly - more then one love and I see my other lover once or twice a week. Single moms are sexy or they can be. I'm a yoga instructor, I get male students hitting up on me all the time. Just yesterday, a loyal long time student who is male and much younger the myself told me he just passed his license for to be a CMT. He asked if he could give me a massage... I said I have a child at home, he said "no worries".

You can keep life interesting and very sexy on many levels. I don't think I've answered any of your questions.. just random thoughts here falling like water.

Ms. Freelove. As I said, this site should be for sexual blogging or anything that pertains to... SEX.

Example:

I long into this site, I'm feeling horny and want to read erotica. To my dismay, all find to read is how bored most people are in life or how sad they are because they are not getting sex. Or worst yet, what they are having for dinner... get real people.

There are many, many other communities to blog about such things. I belong to two and one member here on AdultFriendFinder belongs to one community where I blog. He is fascinated by the dualities the of mind and how we can compartmentalize life to keep it varied abd rich.

This is a sex site... keep it sexy.

I'm not say single moms can't be sexy or anything of that nature.

I just don't consider them for a relationship of any kind.

That's my perogative.

It has nothing to do with them not being sexy, it's just that I won't compromise my schedule or free time because of her child.

I'm just not willing to do that, esp when there are single women who can work around my schedule.

I also think children are a distraction when getting to know someone.
