SHREDDIIN' TO THE OLDIES...

spunky11961

I hear them at the mall, on the radio,, Tv, I hear them walking down the hall, through the wall...

The hobbit next door is blasting Christmas , I'd never even heard of that crap...

The fat lady next door has finally sang, unfortunately it's a christmas duet done by Tina Turner and Captain Kirk...

Any one with fifteen minutes of fame has done the obligatory should've learned to play a trumpet with my butt, bad assed Christmas album...

My eyes shred a tear, my ears more than gently bleed...

Pleas make it stop...

Next up through the walls, done the hall, Chipmunks roasting on an open fire....

Any Holiday Songs You Can't Stand?

I am old enough to be plain sick and tired and bored with ALL of them. But I do love the rearrangements of various traditional songs by Mannheim Steamroller and Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

Last Xmas by George Michael or something like that...

And then some 'merry' summer vacation songs, sigh.

Well perhaps there is a time and place for just about everything.

But belting religious christmas carols in a shopping mall in October is for me......well......a bit below the belt.

Over here in the UK we have the undisputed king of the cheesy Christmas pop song, Sir Cliff Richard. I don't actually know of anyone who likes him and no one can explain how his records make it into the charts.

I'm not much on Christmas.. I hung a fishnet stocking by the chimney, with care. with hopes St Nick would soon over stretch 'em without tear.. the canines were all curled on my bed, dreaming of sugar plum ladies giving me head. .. well anyway my rhyme ran out, but I really got creeped by THAT twinkle is his eyes. and if anyone could come get this elf named Bruce.. please shout? btw don't hang THEM stockings.. if you care.... mine were over filled with cans of Nair!

I know that I had some, but I can not remember which ones since I haven't had the radio turn on much this year. When I do have the radio turn on; it's on a station that doesn't play Christmas songs. At least not yet they haven't.

Anything done by a country western singer makes me start looking for an ice pick so I can puncture my eardrums. For a while "The Little Drummer Boy" was getting on my nerves. Everybody and their pet rat was singing their own version of it.

YES!!! Although I love Christmas music, I was scanning through the radio stations the other day in the car and heard the most horrible song ever. I don't know who or what it was, but I would take screaching brakes and nails down a chalkboard before I ever had to hear that song again!!!

But if "I want a hippopotumus for Christmas" comes on the radio, it gets turned all the way up every time.
