Theme Week, and this is a popular one! Lag+Blog=BLAG!

This a repost, but is so very fitting, along with a new found bitch about censorship ( maybe someday, I'll get to post again! )

Alright, who's dick do I have to suck to get my blog updated sometime this century?

No one has said it yet, so here goes.

I'm officially coining the word BLAG!

I have been posted within 3 minutes of submitting (once, two weeks ago at like 4:30 am), and I have been posted 9 hours after submitting (every other damn blog since! ).

I'm having a hard time just blaming it on heavy traffic (although 5pm - 1am CDT seem to be about the worst! ), or that I'm posting something controversial (although I've seen blogs with much stronger content! ).

Off subject, but in the same vein...

...Being addicted to reading as well as writing, everyone, please spell check before you post your blog! I hate to be reading a wonderfully written blog, something that really speaks volumes to me, except that every third word is misspelled! I was an English major, and officially the worst, and I MEAN WORST, at spelling. Spell check is a gift from the heavens to be used by people who don't have time to sweat the small stuff, like getting all the letters of any given word down and in the right order. It's there, it's free, I will use it if you all will too! Otherwise I'll go on strike and make everyone read my blogs phonetically for the next two months!

lol bear in mind the differences between UK and US english, also bear in mind Spell check finds only spelling errors, typos which in any other word are correct aren't found, my biggest problem, but overall I am SLACK! if I spell checked everything I would take too long,(I do automatically for my email but I just approve everything and causes me even bigger problem there lol) and comments don't offer the option so anyway far too many writers (not talking about yours if your reading this) their spelling is that atrocious that spell check would only render it incomprehensible.....

"blog updated sometime this century"

Come on, the blog reviewers have to sleep sometime too. Cut them a little bitty bit of slack.

You are right with the time the blogs comming up. But be not so hard to spelling errors. Not everyone is born in an English speaking country. Some have to learn it.
And overall be happy about any comment you get, because most people only look and do not write - maybe because they are afraid of making mistakes.

Did you ever get an answer as to why this is happening? The same thing is happening to me. My posts are not even showing up on the most recent post page. As for poor spelling I think I can beat you, you are right about spell check being a god send, couldn't live without it.
